May 23-34 (Memorial Day Weekend)

In the current era of physical distancing, the Vermont Crafts Council will offer a virtual tour this spring in the place of its annual Open Studio Weekend statewide. I intend to participate. Please check back here or at the VCC website for details as the date gets nearer.

POSTPONED to 2021

This spring I was to lead a two-day workshop at the Snow Farm New England Art and Craft Program in Williamsburg, Mass. But Snow Farm has wisely decided to cancel all of its June classes, in line with Massachusetts' guidelines for slowing the spread of the novel coronavirus. I will soon set a date for the workshop to take place in 2021.

July 31-Aug. 2

Formerly held at the Hildene Meadows in Manchester, the show moved to Camelot Village on the west end of Bennington. Show hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Oct. 2-4

200 exhibitors. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. At the Riley Rink, 410 Hunter Park Road, Manchester, Vt.

Oct. 10-11

Fall foliage in all its splendor. A juried show of 80 crafters. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the common of picturesque Newfane, Vt.

December in Brattleboro

Member artists of Brattleboro-West Arts assemble in downtown Brattleboro at the peak of the holiday shopping season for a gallery-style exhibit and sale. This year, plans are underway to move the group's annual show to  Mitchell-Giddings Fine Arts, 181-183 Main St., Brattleboro. Check website below as the event draws near for details and information about participating artists.
